Three of the people killed in a
helicopter crash on the aisle of white
have now been named the third person to
have died. We now know as has been
identified as 54year-old Simon Hwitt
from Lincolnshire. A fourth person is in
hospital after the helicopter went down
during a flying lesson yesterday
morning. Skye's Dan Whitehead has this
report now from the island. A
devastating loss that has left a family
heartbroken. Eustina Choska and Voychek
Kovalovski have been named by family as
two of the victims of Monday's
helicopter crash on the aisle of white.
It was a flying lesson that left three
of those on board dead. Eustina's
daughter wrote on Facebook, "I have no
words. The world took my mom too soon.
She was the best mom you could ask for.
Loved by everyone. I never thought I'd
be writing something like this." A
GoFundMe page set up by the family has
already raised thousands to repatriate
the couple's bodies to Poland.
Meanwhile, investigation work at the
crash site is continuing. Lorries have
been brought in now to help recover the
wreckage of the helicopter. Behind the
police cordon, officers from the
accident investigation branch are
carrying out their work, going through
the helicopter piece by piece. The
helicopter took off from Sandown Airport
at around 9:00 a.m. on Bank Holiday
Monday. Locals describe how it was a
miracle no vehicles were on the road at
the time in what is peak season on the
island. One of those on board who was
airlifted to hospital in Southampton
remains in a serious condition. For the
families of the victims, now a desperate
need for answers as to just how this
tragedy occurred. Dan Whitehead, Sky
News on the aisle of white.
